In the Searching For Issues section, we saw that entering a key word into the search box is a simple way to find issues related to your topic of interest. Users can also apply additional filters, located to the right of the search box. Click the small arrow button to open additional filters.
Note that filtering options are combined with terms entered into the search box to fine tune search results. If nothing is entered into the search box, only the filter options will be used to limit the search results.
Some of the information that useful for filtering is automatically added by the system. Engagement, for example, is automatically tracked by the system. Other information, such as "Threat Level" can only be added manually. For this reason, the issue filtering options become especially useful when you are collaborating with others and have agreed on practices for annotating issues with additional information.
This feature allows the following operations to be included in the search string.

The language associated with an issue is automatically detected when an issue is created from a tip. This automated detection can make mistakes. The most common mistake is for it to only detect one language in content that includes multiple languages. An issue's language field can be manually edited to refer to multiple languages.
If no language is specified in this filter, search results will ignore the language field. If one language is selected, search results will be limited to issues that include that language.
