# Submit A Tip via Slack

If your organization uses Slack, you can integrate Junkipedia into your workspace, enabling you to submit tips from the app.

**Before you begin:** Unsure what Slack channel your organization is using with Junkipedia? Ask your organization's Junkipedia manager. And if your organization isn't yet set up to submit tips via Slack, [learn how to connect Junkipedia to Slack](/getting-started/setting-up-tiplines/configuring-tipline-properties/hosting-a-slack-tipline.md).

Go to your organization’s designated channel for submitting tips and type /junk followed by the URL you’d like to submit. Hit enter.

You will receive a message that says “Tip received!” You can now view and edit the issue in Junkipedia.
